Since 1992, East Coast Veterinary Imaging, Inc. has been the leader in mobile veterinary ultrasound for the Triangle region of North Carolina.  Comprised of only Diplomates of the College of Veterinary Radiology with over 30 years combined experience in diagnostic imaging, ECVI, Inc. aims to be your choice in imaging.  

Advanced Training:  Diplomates of the College of Veterinary Radiology (DACVR) are an elite group of veterinarians (there are fewer than 500 in the world) who have completed an approved Residency Program in diagnostic imaging that includes at least three years of advanced training and intensive study in radiology, ultrasonography, computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, and nuclear medicine, as well as additional training in anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology.

Comprehensive Diagnostics:  Signalment, history, previous bloodwork and imaging are used to guide the exam initially.  Extensive advanced training in ultrasound physics, anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology allows for a dynamic and tailored diagnostic ultrasound examination.

Advanced Procedures Performed Immediately and On-Site:  Fine needle aspirates, tissue core biopsies, abdominocentesis, thoracocentesis and pericardiocentesis.

No Disconnect:  The radiologist incorporating the history and performing the examination is the same radiologist interpreting the findings and providing the report.

No Disruption:  By providing our own technicians, we aim to limit any disruptions to your clinic or utilization of your valuable personnel.
