Cynthia P. Godshalk, DVM, MS, DACVR
Dr. Godshalk, president of ECVI, Inc. received her BS degree from Vanderbilt University and her DVM from the University of Illinois in 1981. She completed an internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Purdue in 1982. She returned to the University of Illinois to complete a residency in Veterinary Radiology and a Master's degree in 1986. Following her residency, Dr. Godshalk worked as an assistant professor at the Veterinary Teaching Hospital at the University of Illinois, followed by a similar position at Kansas State University where she has the section head of Veterinary Radiology. Dr. Godshalk came to North Carolina in 1992 and worked briefly at the North Carolina State University Veterinary Teaching Hospital before starting East Coast Veterinary Imaging in 1993. She was initially the only employee of the business and was eventually joined by veterinary assistants and and veterinary radiologists including her husband, Dr. Jim Douglass. Dr. Godshalk lives part-time in Florida and continues to oversee certain aspects of the business, returning to Raleigh area monthly.

Margaret A. Blaik, DVM, MS, DACVR
Dr. Blaik is a 1996 graduate of Colorado State University College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences. She completed a equine medicine and surgery internship at Equine Medical Associates before entering and completing her residency in Diagnostic Imaging at Auburn University and earning a Master's degree in Veterinary Radiology. After being conferred her Diplomate status by the American College of Veterinary Radiology, she served as an assistant professor of radiology at Oklahoma State University College of Veterinary Medicine from 2001-2003 and assistant professor of radiology and service chief of radiology at the University of Florida from 2003-2007. She joined ECVI, Inc. in the fall of 2007. In her spare time, Dr. Blaik enjoys showing her Morgan and American Saddlebred horses.

James Brown, DVM, MS, DACVR
Dr. James C. Brown, Jr. received his Doctor Of Veterinary Medicine degree the University of Georgia in 2003. He completed a Small Animal Medicine and Surgery Internship in 2004 at The Ohio State University. He completed his Radiology Residency also at The Ohio State University and became board certified by the American College of Veterinary Radiology in 2007. Dr. Brown was a faculty member at North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine from 2007-2013. Since then, he has been working as a teleradiologist with Idexx Telemedicine, and part-time with ECVI, Inc. Jamie lives in Raleigh with his wife and 2 young sons. When not working, he enjoys staying fit and running, going to the beach, and college football and basketball.
