TELERADIOLOGY CONSULT AND SUBMISSION
HOW ARE DIGITAL IMAGES SENT OR UPLOADED TO ECVI?
After your clinic and user accounts are setup, you will be given specific instructions on DICOM sending from your imaging workstation to our teleradiology service. You must have images in DICOM format to access our server. We will not need your DICOM i.p. address to receive images so your computer remains secure and other parties cannot access your images. We will provide details of our server address and assist in configuring your computer to send images on activation of your user profile.
DO YOU ACCEPT HARD COPY(FILM-SCREEN) RADIOGRAPHS FOR INTERPRETATION?
All veterinarians, regardless of their hospital imaging equipment, should have access to our services. Logistically, sending hard copy radiographs for consultation presents many more challenges and costs, and some compromises may have to be made by all parties. If you are interested, please let us know and we will work out the details.
DO YOU OFFER IMAGE EVALUATIONS FOR AAHA CERTIFICATION?
Yes, we do offer AAHA evaluations and can usually have reports completed within 1-2 workdays. Please review the AAHA forms carefully before submitting evaluations, as there are ofter very specific requirements that if not met, result in failure of the study and further delay in meeting your deadline.
Our prices are competitive and we will gladly provide a price list for our services upon request. Signing up for an account is 100% free and there are no minimum case volumes; you can use as often or as little as you need.
Final results for consults received on Monday-Friday before 5 pm (Eastern Time zone) will be provided within 24 hours. Results for consults received on Friday after 5 pm , Saturday or Sunday before 5 pm will be complete by Monday morning at 8 am (Eastern Time zone). Cases may be submitted at any time.
We recognize there are other veterinary teleradiology companies with an extremely rapid turnaround time and sometimes you need quick answers. There are other companies offering 24/7 service and if you need this, we encourage you to use them.
